Kazimiera Szczuka, famous journalist and feminist in Poland, talked to Kozaczek.pl about Doda and her music video to 'Nie Daj Sie' (Don't give up).
Szczuka thinks that the video is feminist, directed at women and she admits that one Doda's video can change a lot in Poland. She also thinks that the meaning of 'Don't give up' is OK, Doda's participation in some feminist action is possible and her sexual freedom is against stereotypes.
Doda is a person who tries to show herself as one-dimensional, she's not pretending to be someone else and that's OK. I think that she can't play some role and that's the way she is, she really has energetic potential and strength. She's young, right, but she's got a lot of strength. She was an athlete and that's why she shows herself as a strong person and this is something cool

The journalists of 'Puls Biznesu' (Busisness' Pulse) made special calculation. They wondered what it would look like if famous Polish people had to pay for the articles about them as for an advertisement. Guess who should pay the biggest amount of money - yes, our Doda! She would have to pay over 87 milions zloty for just first half of this year! And till now it's about 118 milions zloty! The second person on the list, Tomasz Lis, would have to pay... . 46,23 milions zloty. Quite a differance, right?
Doda won two Golden Bills! She won in those categories: Music Video of the Year (for Nie Daj Sie) and Female Singer of the Year. During the show, Doda gave few interviews, some of them for Wp.pl:
About the economical crisis: (translation: 'Me? No way! I'm the biggest national treasure! I'm Your hope so I'm not afraid. It only looks like I'm so careless, in fact I have both feet on the ground and no one can change it')
About the amazing concert in Warsaw (this Saturday): (translation: I would like it to be unique, at least half as good as those world's most famous concerts, I would like it to have nothing in common with typical concerts in Poland, I would like my fans to be shocked, satisfied and not dissapointed because it's my sign - to do everything above the average, similar to foregin's shows so I hope this time it will also work out. I did everything to make it happen')
